the mountain lion saw his chance. He ran and jumped onto Midnight neck. midnight reared. But she bolted forward. the mountain lion fell off. It ran after midnight. midnight ran. She soon noticed that her saddle was off. she probably hit a tree and it broke off.

The mountain lion stopped and tried attacking shadow. Midnight slid to a stop. She turned around. she ran back towards the mountain lion. she ran over it just as it was going to grab onto shadows black neck.

"Shadow!" Light galloped after him and then Lion, she was next to Shadow as they galloped.

the mountain lion got up. It ran away from the horses. Midnight whirled around she didn't know where to go. she ran towards the ravine in the woods.

Light stopped and breathed heavily.

Shadow reared as he bit the lion's neck, he bit down hard on it's windpipe

Aqua galloped after Shadow, not scared one bit.

Light walked to Shadow, she sighed "Why is Aqua like this?" she looked up and saw Aqua.

Light looked down and stood next to Shadow

Sophie was still knocked out. Jenna finnally got up and found her scent. she found sophie. she whined hoping that sophie would get up. Midnight was still running. She would run till her heart exploded. she was a thouroubred and she was born to run. But she didn't know when to stop running.
