Horror book monsters are just fiction right? Wrong. In this small town monsters walk the streets with humans at their side. The humans do not know of course, but that is just because of The Unspoken Rules. The Unspoken Rules are rules that keep vampires in check, you could say. IT keeps them from preying on innocent humans, and instead makes them drink animal blood. There are many rules, but the most important is to keep vampires a secret. IF this secret was exposed, fear would run through the town. Humans would be afraid for their lives, and vampires would be killed. So, they keep their existence a secret from everyone accept each other. They can tell if another is a vampires with the first glance, while humans will never know. As long as vampires follow The Unspoken Rules, everything will be fine..........

Ryan bit his lip gently as he walked down the road. No point in walking, when I have a car, he thought to himself. He bumped past people, rolling his eyes at a few. Humans. He kept walking, until he got to the local park. Why do I come here again? He sat on a bench and boredly watched people go by.

Miranda texted a friend, and sat on her small house's porch. She pressed her chin to her knee, watching a couple people walk by, and down into the park. Her house was perched basically right beside the large area anyways. She shut her phone, trying not to make the snapping sound, and slid it into her back pocket. She stood up, and stretched, yawned, and covered her mouth before putting her feet back into her converse, and walking down to the park.

Ryan shrugged out of his jacket, setting it on the back of the bench. He leaned back and stared up at the cloudy sky. A perfect day. He took a deep breath the smell of humans coming from every direction. Is there anywhere they aren't? he asked himself as he watched the humans. Stupid rules, he thought his face expressionless. He never really did care for what humans thought. They were completely oblivious to the fact vampires were around.

Miranda noticed a couple of people she knew, and waved. The park was an amusing place when there were alot of people hanging around. She debated on whether to sit beneath a shaded tree, or go to her favourite bench. She shrugged, and headed to the bench. She saw someone already sitting on it and stopped. Fine then. To the tree. She grumbled in her mind, and headed towards the tree. She flopped down beneath it, and took out her cell phone again.

Ryan glanced towards Miranda and stood. He rolled his eyes and walked away from the bench. He sat in a nearby tree, his legs dangling in the air.

Miranda saw Ryan leave, and raised an eyebrow. She stood up, brushing some grass off of her, and ran to her bench to claim it. She shifted so she was sitting with her back on it, and watched some people pass like usual.

Ryan sat in the the tree silently. He sighed softly and looked around. He saw another vampire adnd watched him silently.

Miranda climbed up onto the back of the bench, balancing, and standing. She tried to walk across the top in her converse, her eyes going wide everytime she was threatened to fall. She reached the end, and turned around, walking back the other way. She stopped, and hopped down at the end.
